  • Sports and Clubs happening- very busy spring. 
  • Junior BB- almost done
  • Intermediate badminton starting soon
  • Track and field coming up
  • Construction club- grade 8 only
  • Chess club- many intermediate students qualified for provincials!
  • Rubik's cube club coming up too
  • Indigenous art- mural in the library- students very involved in design and execution- it is very beautiful!
  • Drumming instruction very popular with the students
  • Eco club- also underway

  • Talent Night- tech club took pictures, videos

  • sales of popcorn, cookies, hot chocolate to raise money for grade 8 grad.

Financial statement- balance $4351.98

Some other items that we promised to the school-would leave us with $750.00 

Possible fundraiser ideas to raise money before the end of the year

  • Pizza Hut (outsource to restaurant- portion comes back to the school)  - a couple of dates in April and May 
  • student vs teacher- BB shooting contest, volleyball game

General Information Updates & Inquiries

  • WE CONNECT- June 
    • Food Trucks- Zucca's, Burgers, Pizza- Toppers, Jamaican Food, Ice Cream Truck. Not all confirmed at this time. Trying to provide a variety of quick food options.
    • Aero-inflatables- sports and “Fair” games- asking for 25% deposit in advance. Unsure whether we could move all inside in the event of inclement weather- would require the whole gym
    • Student Volunteers- send email to Denison, Mulock and Sacred Heart- 2 or 4 hours volunteer timeslots.
    •  coordinate with student council to organize the grade 8 volunteers (Mr.Cuello, Ms. Smith, Ms. Hill)
  • Book Fair-  $8000.00 raised for this event- Mrs. Fisher will use money back to purchase new books
  • Upcoming- Kindergarten information night for adults (April 23), for students (June 4)
  • Regional Symposium- coming up in May
