Families planning to move or students not returning in Septemberdecorative

As we begin our planning for the 2026-2027 school year, we kindly ask you to inform the school office if your family has plans to move over the summer or if your children will not be returning in September for any reason. This information helps us to ensure a smooth transition for all students and to make necessary staffing arrangements for the upcoming academic year.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps us in planning effectively for the new school year. Thank you for your support.

Cereal Drive - Newmarket Food Pantry

We are excited to announce that PGPS will be participating in the Student Community Hero Campaign hosted by the Newmarket Food Pantry! As we move past the Holiday Season, many families in our community continue to struggle with food insecurity, especially children. This year, the Newmarket Food Pantry is thrilled to host its first-ever Cereal Box Domino Challenge in collaboration with local elementary schools. We believe that by joining forces, we can make a significant and positive impact on the lives of families in need.

What is it? The Cereal Box Domino Challenge is a fun community service activity where participants gather new, unopened cereal boxes, arrange them in a large domino chain, and watch them fall before donating them to their local food bank. All cereal boxes will then be donated to the Newmarket Food Pantry!

Prizes: The homeroom class that brings in the most cereal boxes will win a popcorn & movie afternoon in the library, and the second-place class will receive an extra gym period!

The school that brings in the greatest number of cereal boxes will have its name engraved on a special trophy, and every student in that school will receive a prize!

Let’s work together to help battle food insecurity in our community! Go, Gators, Go!
