Illuminate PGPS ~ Volunteers Needed 
Please save the date for our Illuminate PGPS night on January 21, 5:30-7:00.
This family event is a celebration of our school community. Join us for a Family Fashion Show, some food sampling and other fun activities representing the various holidays, celebrations, traditions and cultures of our students and families.
We are looking for parent volunteers to decorate tables and create displays for the countries/holidays being represented. If you’re interested in sharing your culture with us, we invite you to sign up to volunteer for this amazing event.
There will be a brief volunteer meeting on Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. in the school library.
School Council Corner
Thank you to all our families for supporting the School Council fundraising initiatives. We are pleased to share the results of our recent fundraisers that were possible only with the help of our wonderful school community:
Pizza Nights Fundraiser: Through our pizza nights, we raised a total of $290, with 58 orders placed over the course of the fundraiser (October through December). Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success. We are happy to let you know that we are planning to continue this initiative this year.
Big Box of Cards Fundraiser: With your support, we sold a total of 40 boxes through the Big Box of Cards fundraiser, including 26 boxes of cards and 14 boxes of candles. This allowed us to raise $440 for our school.
Tamil Heritage Month Celebration (North)

Kindergarten & Gr. 1 French Immersion Registration Opens January 16, 2026

This year, our Information session for Grade 1 entry into the French Immersion program will take place at Clearmeadow Public School on January 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. Parents or guardians of Year 2 Kindergarten students entering Grade 1 in 2026, and wishing to enrol in the FI Program, can email or call the school office and indicate their intention to enrol. Families are asked to register by February 9, 2026.
